Looking for a MALE to share a large apt. with high ceilings. Nicely furnished. Great neighborhood and only 1-1/2 blocks from Union Square. You would have your own quiet, furnished bedroom (approx. 10' x 12') that has a window, closet, TV, built-in wall unit...the bathroom is just outside the room. The eat-in-kitchen separates the bedrooms and there is a large living room with three windows onto 17th Street. There are washers and dryers in the building or you can take the laundry around the corner where they do it for you. The apartment is on the third floor in a renovated pre-war building, so you can get some exercise by walking up the marble stairs or take the elevator when you have packages. Rent includes the normal stuff...electric, water and heat.
If you aren't familiar with the area, the apartment is between 3rd Ave. and Irving Place on 17th Street. The amenities around Union Square are just great and include easy subway access making this a fantastic location...convenient and popular.
We are a male couple, professional designers (fashion and landscape architect) and we often work from home, entertain occasionally and like our privacy at times. We are considerate, respectful and responsible guys...probably why we've been able to work and live together for the past 18 years...and looking for someone with the same sensibilities.
Our ideal situation is someone who wants a safe, predicatable place to call home, yet not here all the time...someone who travels for work, or travels two or more weekends a month...thus giving us the opportunity to ease into the situation of living with another person around. If this sounds like a fit for you, we look forward to your reply and meeting you, showing the apartment and so on....
Security deposit would be first and last month rents, references too.
