Houston, USA: Field Support Rep - Houston (353439)

This is a temporary position for approximately 6 - 12 months.

Candidate will be building servers from the point of unpacking the hardware, to racking, to installing the operating system, and in some cases shipping systems to other locations. Candidate must be able to read and comprehend detailed work instructions for installing the Windows Server operating system on new server builds per supplied standards. Candidate must be experienced in working in a production data center environment. Candidate must be able to build servers from a hardware standpoint. Candidate will be able to lift and rack servers. Candidate must be detail oriented and have strong verbal and written skills.

Strong customer communications skills. 5 to 7 years related experience with Compaq servers. Ability to independently, identify and diagnose problems, track and report progress. U.S. citizens required (job in the government/prime contractors serving government sectors). Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Location: TX - Houston

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
