2 positions: Sr Helpdesk (3rd level HLPDSK) and Network Admin or 2 Network Admin’s
Skill sets needed: AD, Exchange (on 2003), basic networking skills (does not need network engineer that knows routers and switches)
Windows shop
Will be supporting 60 total users
Multiple locations in Lafayette: 2 primary’s are the office and plant 15 minutes apart from each other
Candidate will be supporting employees only but needs to realize they will be dealing with printer issues, email issues, replacing laptops, be able to transfer files, etc.
Candidates will be doing a domain migration so if they have done an email migration before is very beneficial
*need to be a bigger picture person and plan out what needs to be done and not create more issues when fixing the current problem
*need to be strong enough to effectively communicate to the users that trouble tickets are not first come first serve they are spread out according to organized plan developed by the contractor themselves and by priority..a person who is simply reactive will not work must be able to plan
*Little guidance will be there..so needs to be able to effectively communicate to corporate in The Woodlands (Houston) on what they are doing
