I am a recruiter for the WorkSource. On behalf of the employer I am searching for qualified candidates to fill the position below.




Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.




Ability to speak, read and write Spanish highly desired in order to effectively communicate with residents.




Proficiency in reading, writing and documentation skills.




Two years experience in social services or residential setting with at-risk clientle.




Ability to work in crisis driven environment and maintain therapeutic environment. Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and meet culturally relevant needs.




Knowledge of community resources for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, homeless and persons with special needs.




Knowledge of domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness issues.




Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.




Conduct initial resident in-take and complete accompanying paperwork in compliance with grant guidelines.




Provide orientation to emergency shelter and familiarize resident with guidelines.




Provide orientation to emergency shelter and familiarize resident with guidelines.




Assist residents with information and referrals as needed.




Answer 24 hour hotline to provide crisis intervention, information and referrals.




Document services provided to resident on assigned shift.




Supervise residents by assigning daily chores, ensuring shelter guidelines are adhered to throughout shift.




Maintain documentation regarding services provided to residents and pertinent information regarding resident in resident file and office log.




Maintain house stays and communicate to hotline staff availability.




Resident Advocate provides direct services to residents in 75-bed emergency shelter settings for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and the homeless.
