CCFA seeks an Education and Support Manager (ESM) for its Houston to plan, implement, coordinate, and seek funding for the chapter’s overall patient and professional education effort. This individual will work with the Executive Director, the National Patient and Professional Education Department and appropriate volunteer committees to develop an annual plan of work and budget for assigned education initiatives including, but not limited to, patient programming and professional education events, Camp Oasis, support groups, education modules, teleconferences and other related education programs. In addition, the ESM will be charged with building and establishing a relationship for hosting a Camp Oasis program. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of success using a variety of strategies to improve service delivery, increase presence in the health-care community and develop membership growth and participation. 30% of time will be spent traveling and building relationships throughout the Houston area. Minimum of BA/ BS in social work, nursing, public health, or health related discipline, Masters Degree preferred and at least three to five years experience in program development, preferably within a health-related organization, not-for-profit experience a plus.
