Operations Manager

R. Stahl, Inc is acknowledged as the world�s foremost innovator in explosion protected components and systems. This very dynamic role will report to the General Manager with accountability for the following responsibilities;

Supervise production, assembly and electrical wiring personnel. Responsible for shop layout and material handling while planning production. Provide work direction and performance management along with training for the personnel that you manage. Select and maintain production equipment and manage inventory of approximately 13,000 items in our accounting system, order parts to replenish and monitor inventory levels. This position is also responsible for the overall shop and warehouse policies and procedures, including implementation of the policies and procedures.

Preferred candidates will have Bachelor degree in Operations Management, Production Management, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. A minimum of five years management experience in a manufacturing environment and two to three years with electrical wiring/assembly/warehouse. Must be able to read design specifications, technical drawings, wiring schematics and bill of materials. We require excellent communication skills both verbal and written and a high proficiency in MS Office and an ERP system. This role will require occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays and must be able to travel.
