Paralegal professionals are entrusted with a high degree of responsibility, as they undertake a significant role in supporting the legal needs of operations throughout North America and the company’s corporate departments. Candidates must be able to assist with the resolution of matters covering a wide variety of legal topics, communicate well verbally and in writing, conduct and document effective research, assist in drafting correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents, and work directly with inside and outside counsel on legal matters. Candidates must be motivated team players with prior experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate environment (transactional or general corporate experience preferred); must have the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously within stated deadlines; must possess strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment and use of discretion and excellent organizational skills; and must have proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
