This position is responsible for supporting the Quality Management System in accordance with the documented procedures, quality standards and regulatory requirements.The position is directly responsible for the following areas as assigned: Quality System, process and supplier audits, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and regulatory submissions, including but not limited to the quality activities and functions as designated. Accountable for ensuring that process and product deficiencies are brought to the attention of management and resolved, and ensuring compliance with applicable industry, national, and international standards. Supporting process improvement initiatives. Performing and supporting internal and supplier audits in accordance with the company’s internal audit program.· Develop and execute audit schedule and plans.· Conduct and assist with internal audits of the Quality System and associated processes.· Conduct and assist with external audits of suppliers on an as-needed basis.· Initiate and track nonconformances, corrective and preventive actions.· Report nonconformances to management.· Review corrective and preventive actions to assess effectiveness of solutions.· Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action System· Verify and validate changes and improvements to documents under the change control system.· Assist and conduct audits to maintain and improve Company systems and process controls.· Ensure compliance with industry, national and international standards and directives.· Create and manage product submissions to regulatory authorities.· Assure vigilance through effective analysis and proven feedback methods (Six Sigma, Lean, statistical process control, etc.)




QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


Bachelor Degree is essential. Minimum of five years experience in a technical field, with preferred emphasis in Electronics Manufacturing and Technical Services. Experienced customer interfacing and negotiation skills. Knowledge and understanding of the standards against which quality system audits are performed. Successful completion of and ISO9000 auditor/lead auditor course. Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities, and work effectively in a team environment. Demonstrated knowledge in ISO 9001:2000 and other quality-related standards/directives, continuous improvement, corrective and preventive action, and regulatory submissions. Five years experience of Manufacturing Quality and audit management gained within a modern manufacturing, control systems or engineering services environment (preferably electronics technology or light engineering). Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Assessment techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting. Additional skills required for managing and audit, such as planning, organizing, communicating and directing.
